Generate game assets with AI: models, textures and audio

Describe the assets your game needs, generate them with Gessa’s built-in AI, and use them in your game creation workflow. Models, textures and audio sit alongside the engine, so you can judge each result in the experience you are building.

Start with the asset’s job in the game

Say what the asset is for, how it should look or sound, and where players will encounter it. For a collectible, describe a readable silhouette and a style that stands out from the ground. For a sound, describe the action it should communicate.

Create a stylized blue crystal collectible for an island exploration game. Give it a clear silhouette and a bright center that stands out against green grass.

Build a consistent set

Generate models, textures and audio around the same art direction. A crystal model, a stone ground texture and a collection sound can support one interaction. Review each asset in the game and refine the parts that need adjustment.

Generate a texture for a surface in your game

Describe the surface, its colors and the size of its details. Generate a base-color texture, apply it to the intended surface and inspect it from the player’s usual distance. A ground texture should support the scene’s style while keeping paths and collectibles easy to see.

Check the result under your scene’s lighting and look for visible seams where the texture repeats. Ask for a focused change, such as smaller stones or less contrast, then compare it in the same scene. When your material needs additional maps, check which outputs the selected generation tool provides.

Create a base-color texture for a mossy stone path in a stylized island game. Use small rounded stones, muted gray and soft green moss. Keep the detail subtle so bright blue collectibles remain easy to spot.

Generate sound effects for game actions

Describe the sound and the moment that should trigger it. A crystal pickup, a gate opening and a round ending each need a different response. Generate the audio, listen to it on its own, then test it with the interaction in your game.

Keep the important feedback easy to hear alongside music and ambience. Ask for a change in tone or intensity when a sound does not fit, and test what happens when the action repeats or several players trigger it.

Generate a short, bright crystalline chime for collecting a blue crystal. It should feel rewarding and fit a playful island adventure.

Create music and ambience for your world

Describe the mood of the place players are entering: a peaceful island, a mysterious cavern or an energetic arena. Generate music or ambient audio for that scene, then listen while moving around and completing the game’s main activity.

Balance the background against sounds players rely on. If you repeat an audio clip, listen across the transition and adjust it so the change fits the experience.

Keep shaping the game around the assets

In Gessa, asset creation is part of the same workflow as scenes, game logic and multiplayer. Place an asset, connect it to an interaction and test the result. That gives you a concrete reason for the next generation or edit.

Refine models in browser Blender

Use Gessa’s browser Blender editor to shape and refine models. For compatible AI tools, Gessa also provides a separate hosted Blender MCP environment for modeling and automation.

Check formats, scale and reuse

Generated models arrive as game-ready glTF or GLB, so they place straight into a scene. Check scale against the player and adjust materials where a result needs it. Assets you generate in your own workspace are yours to use in the game you are building. The showcase library's pre-generated assets carry their own per-asset licenses, so check each item's license before reusing it elsewhere.

Frequently asked questions

What can I generate with Gessa’s AI?
Gessa supports models, textures and audio in its game creation workflow.
Is the built-in AI free?
Yes. Gessa’s built-in AI is free and does not require a separate external AI account.
Can I use the assets in the game I am making?
Yes. Asset creation and game creation are connected in Gessa, so you can build and refine them as part of the same project.
Can I generate game textures with AI?
Yes. Describe the surface you need, generate its texture and inspect it on the intended object or terrain. Check the texture under your game’s lighting and refine how it looks from the player’s view.
Can I generate game sound effects and music?
Yes. Gessa’s asset generation includes audio. Describe the sound effect, musical mood or ambience you want, then test the generated audio in your game.
Do I need separate AI accounts for models, textures and audio?
No. Gessa’s built-in AI brings these generation workflows into the platform without requiring a separate external AI account.
